Meet Our Chief Clerk
Pamela T. Jones
Pamela T. Jones has nearly fifteen years of public administration experience and she is also a licensed attorney. Her work experience is diverse as she has worked six years as a staff attorney for the City of Birmingham; however, prior to joining the City’s law department, she worked in areas of downtown development and urban and regional planning. She has an undergraduate degree from Berea College, a Master’s in Public and Private Management from Birmingham Southern College and a law degree from Miles Law School.
Thomas Parchman, III
Deputy Chief Clerk
Thomas Parchman, III graduated from Indian Springs School, Wesleyan University (Middletown, CT) and Miles Law School. Deputy Chief Parchman practiced law in Jefferson County for 10 years prior to his appointment as Deputy Chief Clerk of Jefferson County Probate Court in January, 2017. Deputy Chief Parchman works closely with the Chief Clerk in managing administrative operations of the Probate Court to assure all court business is expedited in a timely manner and all records are safely stored.
