Conservatorship / Guardianship
Conservatorships and/or Guardianships are generally involved hearings and always require testimony and documentation before the court can appoint someone to one or both of these important positions of trust. If someone is appointed as a Conservator, a surety bond will be required, which serves to protect the assets of the minor or incapacitated person. An attorney can fully explain the probate procedures.
