Amanda Reid
Chief Clerk
Amanda Reid grew up in Birmingham and graduated from Homewood High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Birmingham-Southern College, graduating cum laude in 2000. Ms. Reid graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2004 and was admitted the Alabama State Bar in 2004. Following eleven years in private practice, Ms. Reid found her passion in Probate Court, serving as Staff Attorney before becoming Chief Clerk in 2022.
Lisa Carson

With over 20 years of committed service in the public sector, Lisa Carson has built a distinguished career working alongside attorneys, judges, and both city and county officials. She brings a wealth of experience and leadership in legal and governmental operations, having studied Organizational Leadership and Paralegal Studies at Samford University.
Lisa is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), reflecting her dedication to professional development and effective personnel management. Her leadership roles include serving as Chairperson of the Jefferson County Vacation Leave Bank, where she helped employees navigate challenges during medical crises, and contributing as a member of the Junior Board of Girls, Inc., of Central Alabama, empowering young girls to thrive and succeed.
Lisa remains committed to public service, leadership, and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
